Dr. Sonal Panchal

Dr. Sonal passed her MBBS in 1983 and did her postgraduation in Radiology and Imaging. She finished her MD in 1987. She did all both MBBS and MD from V.S. Hospital and N.H.L. Municipal Medical college, Ahmedabad. She has also done a diploma in Hospital administration in 1995 from Institute of healthcare administration, Chennai. She worked as a consultant Radiologist at Mehta Hospital, Ahmedabad for one year and then had to shift to a rural hospital, Sant Shree Shamalabapa Hospital, Rupavati, in Bhavnagar District of Gujarat as a consultant radiologist for six years. She also worked at Karnavati Hospital, Ahmedabad for a short period of six months as a consultant Radiologist, before she stepped into an academic career. She joined M.P.Shah Cancer hospital, Ahmedabad as a junior lecturer and was promoted as an Assistant Professor. She worked there for three years. She then joined Dr. Nagori’s Institute for Infertility and IVF in August 1999, at the same time when it was established. She is also an academician at heart and with Dr. Nagori’s support and guidance has achieved great heights in the field of ultrasound in infertility and 3D-4D ultrasound. She is a pioneer for application of Doppler and 3D-4D in infertility. She was amongst the first few people in India who mastered in 3D-4D ultrasound. She has also been a very popular faculty and teacher and has so far delivered more than 250 lectures at various state, national and international platforms

She conducts regular training programs on Doppler in Infertility, Volume ultrasound in Infertility, Obstetric ultrasound and volume ultrasound.

Conducting monthly hands on training programs at our own Center : Ultrasound in Gyneac and Infertility and US and Doppler in in Obstetrics and gynecology(A FOGSI Recognized Centre for Ultrasound and Infertility Training) and twice a year training programs on fetal echocardiography and 3D-4D training programs.
